Since 2005 AEW started on an initiative to organize Monthly Public Dialogues and various Universities that run every last Friday of the month.

The main objectives of these dialogue is to create a platform for discussion on Environment and Development issues in the country and beyond and also to build the capacity of the general public and University students' understanding and articulation of Environmental and Development issues through interacting with Environmental Practitioners, technocrats and activists.

The previous Dialogues have taken place at Makerere University (MUK) main Campus and Kampala International University (KIU).

Partners in organizing these dialogues include Makerere University Environment Management Association (MUEMA), Uganda Coalition for Sustainable Development (UCSD) and Forum for International Coorperation (FIC).

These dialogues have received support from National Environment Management Authority (NEMA), Makerere University Geography Department (MUKGD) and Global Green Funds (GGF).
